Dora lives alone on the Nebraska prairie -- she's gone through three husbands and is now the lonely mistress to her married milkman, Kevin — until a Swan crashes into her living room window. A mysterious and comic riff on the classic Leda myth.

THE BETROTHED

Simon's been betrothed since birth -- 30 long years to meet his beloved. But, arriving in the old country, his fantasy is derailed by old crones, morally ambiguous clergymen, deceitful babies, and barnyard animals. An existential comedy with a fairy tale heart.
SIMON, mid-30’s – A virgin Everyman. Naïve, hopeful, misses the point. A lot. CAST*
CECILIA/RASHEEDA – Cecilia is ancient and wise and sexy, her daughter Rasheeda is young, glamorous and untrustworthy.
SOLOMON/THE SON – Simon’s father, late 50’s, a chronic womanizer, charming and dangerous. Also plays his own grandson, early teens version.
GONAN/THE PRIEST, late 50’s – Solomon’s best friend and worst enemy. Also plays an old country cleric with a taste for popular American culture. Ambiguous in every sense. CAST*
