Internships

Overview
Every summer CTC provides unique opportunities for local youth to gain valuable theatre experience by interning at the theatre. Interns work in many different areas in our theatre, serving as Assistant Stage Managers and technical crew, assisting in the box office, and assisting with house management.

During the school year, internships are available in art administration, marketing, grantwriting, theatre education, and more.

CTC offers both paid and unpaid internships.  From June through August, CTC employs interns for various lengths of time, ranging from two weeks to the full summer.  Internships are available each semester during the school year.

As a small, non-profit theatre, we depend on the hard work and dedication of our interns to make our season happen, and we work to make sure interns are getting out of this experience as much as they put into it.  One of the experiences interns most enjoy about our program is that they get to know our actors, directors, and technical staff on a first-name basis. We strive to make our program educational as well as professionally valuable, and to make sure our interns are learning what it is to work in a professional theatre.
