PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT - Summer 2006

Production Assistants wanted at The Miniature Theatre of Chester, in Chester Massachusetts. MTC is a non-profit professional equity company operating in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts (Chester is approx. 45 minutes from Northampton, 30 minutes from Westfield, and 45 minutes from Pittsfield).

The Internship includes a full summer season of producing four plays, as well as any additional events, benefits, etc. Interns will be involved in all areas of production: set construction, lighting, costume, props, and run crews, as well as opportunities in sound and lighting board operation.

Interns will be working closely with professional Directors, Actors, and Designers, as well as the Technical Director and Master Electrician. This is a great opportunity to watch and learn from professionals in an intimate setting.

The position offers a weekly stipend.
